Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
A site that writes about tracking should be careful about its own. This policy explains what Cybervelnix (“we”) collects when you visit cybervelnix.com, and what we don’t.
What we don’t do
We do not run analytics tools, advertising pixels, social media widgets or session-recording scripts on our pages. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not build profiles of visitors.
Server logs
Like nearly every website, our web server automatically records basic technical information for each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser’s user-agent string. We use these logs only to keep the site running, diagnose errors and protect against abuse. Logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or rotated.
Contact form
If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, together with the time of submission. We use this only to read and, where appropriate, respond to your message. Submissions are delivered to our inbox and stored in a private log on our server that is not publicly accessible. We keep messages only as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable record-keeping.
The contact page uses a short-lived session cookie solely to protect the form against forged submissions. It contains no tracking information and expires when you close your browser.
Affiliate links and third-party cookies
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave our site and visit a third party, such as the Total Adblock website or an affiliate network. Those parties may set their own cookies or use similar technologies to record that you arrived through our link, so that a commission can be attributed if you buy. Those cookies are controlled by the third party, not by us, and are governed by their privacy policies. You can limit them through your browser settings.
Fonts
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When your browser requests these files, Google receives your IP address and browser information as part of that request, under Google’s own privacy terms.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your contact-form messages. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the date above reflects the latest version. Questions or requests: [email protected].
