About

What Cybervelnix is

Cybervelnix is a small online publication that explains everyday browsing privacy in plain language. We focus on the parts of the web that most people notice but rarely see explained: why ads seem to follow you, what trackers and data brokers do, how ad auctions work, and which practical habits and tools can reduce how much of your activity is shared.

How we’re funded

Cybervelnix is an advertorial and consumer-tips site. We do not charge readers, we do not sell subscriptions, and we do not run analytics on our pages. Instead, the site is funded through affiliate commissions. Some pages, including our home page, recommend specific products — currently the Total Adblock browser extension — and if you click through and buy, we may earn a commission from the seller. You do not pay more because of that.

Because we are paid when readers buy, our pages are marked as advertorials, and every product link is labeled as sponsored. Details are in our advertising disclosure.

What we try to do

Who writes it

Articles are written and maintained by the Cybervelnix Editorial Team. We are an independent publisher. We are not a security vendor, and we are not owned by or acting on behalf of any of the companies whose products we mention. Our content is general information and not professional, legal, medical or financial advice.
